I am a skilled management executive with over 20 years of diverse and progressive experience in a variety of industries, with a focus on program/project management, product management, manufacturing and technology. Demonstrated hands-on, entrepreneurial management style in the development and implementation of strategic plans to ensure execution, growth and success. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead teams or work independently, planning and managing complex business relationships and objectives. I earned my MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. I am a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington (PE #34893). I am the co-inventor of several patented furnace reactor types used in silicon manufacturing.I've had a lifelong passion for engineering and applied technology, both in my career and my hobbies. I enjoy programming, using the latest solid modeling software, constructing and using custom 3D printers, and building and setting up various remote controlled vehicles, including various iterations of drone aircraft. In my free time I enjoy teaching and mentoring, most recently with the Mercer Island High School FIRST Robotics Competition Team, as a guest lecturer on drone technology at Aviation High School and volunteer high school math and physics teacher in Dharamsala, India.
