I was a member of the heterogeneous computing laboratory, where I gained experience in high-performance computing and parallel programming using technologies such as CUDA. I published three papers on GPU optimizations for a sparse matrix-matrix multiplication kernel. Additionally, I participated in research projects in collaboration with the Computer Science Department (INCO) and the Fluid Mechanics & Environmental Engineering Department (IMFIA), where I used numerical simulations to predict weather and sea level conditions. I frequently utilized programming languages such as Python and Matlab, as well as the GNU tool-chain.
