How to understand and implement new developments in technology or society to the benefit of humans has fascinated me since I was a student. I have lived in many great cities and countries and I love to collaborate with open minded people. This has led me to a variety of jobs throughout my career:1. I co-founded two start ups, one as a spin off from my university department, one after 15 years of business experience, and successfully integrated both of them into corporate environments. During those years I held different management positions and worked with international teams on product & service development and client projects. The main focus was always to create state-of-the-art environments, frameworks and tools to support corporations and organizations in tackling their challenges. During the last 3 years, the processes I used and hacked most were futures thinking, design thinking, customer and employee journey mapping and sustainable thinking. 2. Over the last 20 years I planned and facilitated +500 workshops for customers, held +100 keynotes on 3 continents (Europe, Asia, LATAM) and did numerous consulting and research projects. Since I am a big fan of open innovation and cross pollination I always try to build bridges between verticals and target groups and learn from others experiences in every workshop. 3. I truly believe that our educational approach needs to change based on the 4Cs of 21st century learning. I left university only to come back as an adjunct lecturer and try my best to make a difference when discussing current and future challenges with students of all ages and backgrounds during my courses on trend-based innovation and human centered design. The passion for teaching has made me a proud faculty member of HWZ Zürich, Switzerland, WU Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Executive Academy and LIMAK, Austria + a guest lecturer at various international educational institutions.4.
