Day-to-day duties included the development and research of custom solutions - often for client projects where no Open Source solution could be found (resulting in the creation and execution of custom code and system builds).• Being the final escalation point for all system issues, constant monitoring and being on call 24 hours a day was required.

This data was used for general diagnostics for various customers - was also used for billing reconciliation. All tools ran on several different Sun servers running Solaris 7.
