Mark was a Balance Sheet Analyst employed to clean current account balances and effectively mitigate future unanticipated financial exposure. He successfully implemented an on-line reconciliation tool to facilitate a 100% reconciliation percentage eliminating SOX exceptions and improving company compliance for 4 sub-divisions.

Mark held multiple financial roles in the restructuring of the Wiz during their synergy venture with Cablevision of Long Island. As a senior-level accountant, he managed the general ledger closing and reporting functions for two key business areas, occupancy and advertising, As a finance supervisor, his responsibilities advanced to include annual budget/forecasting modeling and preparation, P&L and cash financial projections, variance and flux analyses.

Mark was hired as a contractor to handle inter-company accounting functions for BMS's third-party joint-venture with Bracco Diagnostics. His main areas of focus were related to the settlement of receivables and expenses in agreement to the manufacturing contract. In support of BMS's technical operations division, Mark also was directly involved in annual budget preparation and modeling as well as monthly analysis of perpetual inventory flows and levels.

After beginning his financial career in service-oriented government contracting, Mark transitioned to the corporate retail environment after 5 years as a senior-level accountant managing the financial responsibilities for the occupancy and advertising areas. His additional experience gained with real estate lease administration controlled costs for the 115 store chain. He also implemented control and collection procedures to re-coup $6M in annual advertising spend in vendor co-op receivables.
