Manage a collaborative project staff among three nonprofit agencies to address gaps in the HIV care continuum through intensive collaboration with community members, partner nonprofits, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state and county health departments, and clinics to implement community-coordinated, public health strategies. evidence-based health and behavioral interventions to targeted high-risk populations. Coordinate strategy and intervention among collaborating agencies.Communicate and report to funders and compliance officers.

• Implementing the Making Proud Choices!, evidence-based, age appropriate sexual decision making and negotiation curriculum• Recruit LGTBQ and straight ally youth in the Birmingham area to participate • Coordinate cohorts of 6-15 youths to whom deliver the 10 hour workshop over the course of several sessions• Compile and report provided data to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s Alabama Personal Responsibility Program (APREP)

• Coordinate HIV testing events throughout the community and the Greater Birmingham area that focus on testing high risk individuals, especially men who have sex with men• Implementing the 1-800 Project MSM Testing Initiative funded by the Center for Disease Control to identify individuals who are previously unaware of their HIV positive status and link those individuals to care

Provide real time scribing services and charting assistance to physicians at St. Vincent’s Birmingham Emergency Department during patient interactions and examinations.
