* Oversaw research, drafting and implementation of a campaign strategy for the democratic primary in which Kim Foxx receiving 58% of support in a three way race with Anita Alvarez and Donna More. * Established a campaign kitchen cabinet of leaders from diverse prospectives, political communities* Interviewed, hired and manage a campaign team and vendors* Supported a team that built a grassroots volunteer base which collected more than 21,000 petition signatures, made phone calls and knocked tens of thousands of doors to likely voters in the democratic primary. * Managed and supervised finance team in cultivating support from major and mid-level donors, labor unions, and grassroots online donors.* Garnered early and broad strategic endorsements that established Kim as independent choice through progressive and reform validators including support from political leaders, local community and religious organizations, labor unions, national public interest and advocacy groups and all major and local editorial boards.

Raised more than $900,000 from individual donors, monthly givers, and institutional support from foundations and labor unions* Reported to 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 boards with combined total of 14 members* Recruited, hired and managed five-person senior staff at peak election cycles who oversaw the registration of more than 25,000 voters under the age of 25 in three-year period. * Co-founded the Just Democracy coalition, Illinois’ largest political reform and voting rights coalition, which developed and began to implement long-term vision for voting rights in Illinois and the U.S., and passed three landmark voting rights and modernization bills• Developed hands-on training programs curricula for youth and young adults featuring more than 25 speakers with goal of creating new generation of leaders familiar with different modes of activism and political engagement.• Recruited, trained and supported more than 100 young, emerging leaders through training programs, fellowships programs and long-term leadership development. These leaders are working all across this city and state making big things happen in their communities, in local government, on their campuses, and in lives of others.

Oversaw and coordinated all campaign operations from January 2011 through the April 5th run-off election. Chicago Magazine- "Incumbent Danny Solis, who had the backing of Rahm, Ed Burke and the unions, ended up in an unexpectedly tough race against Cuahutémoc 'Témoc' Morfin. In the primary, Morfin, who made pollution in Pilsen a major issue, lost to Solis by 21 points; [April 5th] he lost by 8, coming within 595 votes."Huffington Post-"Morfin brought a progressive dynamic into this election that will tangibly impact the future of Solis' career in the 25th. Solis had to reexamine and reform his platform priorities in a way that most aldermen will never have to. For the first time in Solis' career, he had someone hungry for new leadership nipping at his heels, and he knew it. He had no other option but to change his often stubborn and harmful political policies."

• Oversaw grassroots field campaign, realizing 14% increase in voter turnout over prior election, and garnering 34% of vote (highest vote percentage of a third-party (Green) candidate in state history).• Developed, organized and staffed over 20 political events and fundraisers.• Executed robust GOTV effort deploying over 115 volunteers throughout district and polling locations on Election Day.

• Trained a staff of over eighty canvassers, field managers and assistant directors in public speaking, canvassing, campaign, and leadership skills.• Facilitated campaign fieldwork including petition and letter writing drives, coalition-building, organizing and holding news conferences, and grassroots lobbying. • Exceeded fund-raising goals by personally raising over $75,000, and supervised offices that surpassed expectations by raising over $150,000 (Summer 2007: $80,000, Winter 2008: $75,000)• Oversaw all administrative functions related to fund-raising, membership development and campaign work.• Increased donor base by identifying over 10,000 new members for Environment America, USPIRG and The Human Rights Campaign.
