Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) Volunteer with 8 years’ experience and an excellent knowledge of the Victorian Emergency Management Arrangements and the Australasian Inter-Service Incident Management System (AIIMS).Volunteering as the Deputy Controller - Administration and Training Officer for the Gisborne SES Unit and ICC and Staging Area roles has provided a wide range of experience within the Emergency Services.Good understanding of the Victorian State Emergency Management Plan, the Command and Control arrangements for Class 1, 2 and 3 emergencies and the scalability provided by the three-tiered structure (Incident, Region and State) for emergency management.Experience in leadership in an Emergency Management context as a SES Incident Agency Commander, Sector and Division Commander and Staging Area Manager.Familiar in the use of tools such as EM-COP, EM Drive, EMwebmail and FireWeb, as well as highly proficient in the MS Office suite of products, similar other productivity software and multiple e-mail systems.Highly focussed on service excellence and delivering the best possible outcome for emergency services personnel and our communities.
