Responsibilities • Reporting to the Senior Specialist – Consolidations.• Preparing budgets, forecasts and long range plans for the consolidated entity.• Preparing a statutory pack for the consolidated entity.• Assisting in the preparation of the consolidated annual financial statements.• Assisting in the merger project relating to the restructuring of the Vodacom Group of companies.• Preparing Agent and technical journals and processing on Hyperion Financial Management.• Preparing and processing intercompany elimination journals on Hyperion Financial Management.• Preparing monthly management reports on a consolidated level.• Analysing and reporting on variances in monthly flashes.• Monitoring and reporting on cash flows.• Resolving technical and ad hoc queries raised by the Group company (Vodacom Group Ltd).Achievements• Successfully completed the accounting consolidation of the merged group of companies.
