During my tenure as a Technical LEAD:• Define, create, and validate Team-facing deliverables such as technical presentations, project plans, and engineering guides. All vital technical documents required to facilitate the understanding and introduction of newcomers in the Team.• Play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the network Team best practice. This involves creating, amending process flows for the proper operation of the network Team.• Develop and present training sessions while explaining architectures, capabilities, expectations, advantages and product portfolio. Provide follow-up mechanisms for proper upskilling of newcomers. • Follow up of newcomers were made by using a competency matrix with frequent assessment made to relevant party.• Assist with complex and/or urgent field issues that have been escalated.• Follow up on weekly meeting with various stakeholders to monitor team activities (through statistics), raise flags or alarms, and communicate relevant information to Team members. • Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly reporting of the network team. This was started on an excel where I mirrored the knowledge and intelligence to be used on Microsoft PowerBI. This is today the standard that is used in the whole department where the whole network operation is monitored through various dashboards.

Responsible for providing assistance to field engineers of OBS for the installation, upgrade and troubleshooting of various networking equipment deployed on end customer side. Technologies includes various copper mediums (such as DSL) and also Fiber. Few big players are (Le Crédit Agricole, La Poste, BNPP)- Excellent and broad knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP stack.- Work on high availability and high-volume networks with well known vendors such as Cisco & Juniper.- Making use of extensive knowledge of WAN technologies such as DSL, FTTH and 4G to deploy to end points.- Working with WAN protocols such OSPF, BGP for traffic shaping and using VRFs in an MPLS enabled backbone. - Making extensive use of policy based routing, offloading and load balancing as required.- Working with LAN protocols such as HSRP, VRRP, Spanning tree, MLAG and VXLAN.- To work in a Team and ensure that everyone is aligned on the required knowledge & skills to deliver quick responses to customers in the least amount of time.- Main point of contact for complex issues, raise alarms when required, provide documentation to team members, follow-up on slow learners were among my secondary duties.

Work with a team of 3 other NOCs and report directly to the NOC lead.Monitoring of all network alerts, errors, warnings, performance, communication issues or problem conditions.Collect statistical information, research problems, logs and the ending of tasks with spreadsheet software.Escalate and make recommendations concerning major outages to upper management.Report to TAC-3 and TAC-4 support, attempt to troubleshoot and resolve HW, SW and FW outages.
