I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Development Economics at Dalhousie University, where I also work as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor—roles that reflect my deep interest in research and academia. I am an aspiring Development Economist leveraging econometric skills to drive impactful solutions for economic challenges that foster development. With over a year of consulting experience at InFacto Consulting, I have contributed to impact evaluations and monitoring for development projects. This role, along with my academic training, has strengthened my proficiency in utilizing tools like R, Stata, and Microsoft Office to analyze complex economic data. These experiences have enhanced my research methodology and problem-solving skills, allowing me to tackle both theoretical and practical economic challenges effectively.Recently, I had the privilege of representing Fusion Halifax at the Kick-off Event of the Art of City Building 2024, where I presented on “Challenges Faced by Young Professionals in Halifax.” I highlighted critical issues such as affordability, student debt, and unemployment that affect the city’s youth. In addition to my passion for economics, I am an enthusiastic baker. I find that the precision and creativity involved in baking complement my analytical work, providing a well-rounded approach to problem-solving.Let’s connect to discuss development economics, baking, or exciting career opportunities in this space!
