Reshma currently serves as the Senior Operations Director of the West and Central region states in the U.S. across all 3 Lines of Business (Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid) at Elevance Health (NYSE: ELV), a Fortune 25 company serving more than 117 million Americans. She leads a team of strategy directors who play a crucial role in shaping and executing on the company's growth and technology strategies.Reshma Patel is a healthcare executive with over ~10 years of experience driving business model transformation in the U.S. healthcare payor system. Through intentional focus, rigorous standardization, strong instincts re: bringing together the right people -- regardless of their defined role -- and deploying operations & technology at scale to 1) improve consumer experience, 2) improve operational outcomes, and 3) lower costs, she has consistently led long-term efforts to rewire how organizations continuously improve, through muscle-memory, dogged persistence, and a passion for results. She will obtain her Executive MBA degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management in May 2025.She has led the system migration of over 6 million members from multiple legacy product systems to the central system resulting in operational efficiencies. She served in the PMO responsible for a $60M Program to transform Anthem’s Commercial Product Portfolio, placing Anthem at the forefront of virtual care during the COVID19 pandemic. She also successfully negotiated effective reseller agreements with multiple digital health & wellness companies defining engagement metrics, pipeline growth, innovative pricing structures and revenue share models. She has also defined and executed modernized network solutions that achieved a 6-10% price differential resulting in membership that exceeded sales forecasting by 233%, and enabled Anthem to effectively compete in geographies to gain market share. Her extensive management consulting experience enables her to quickly perform discovery, evaluate growth opportunities, and build relationships across the enterprise.
