Am having 7 years of experience in freight forwarding industry and my responsibilities are as below.Co-ordinating with international air & Ocean across key markets withinleading Shipping line , freight Forwarder(Agents) or 3PL (FCL & LCL EUimport/export and cross trade)Working and guiding with Team members and Pricing & Sales in order toquickly resolve any issues that arise in the most cost effective manner.Handling personal effect cargoes.Maintaining and getting agency agreement from overseas agents.Frequently calling customers and getting new enquires and following Oldcustomers too.Replying the Queries to carriers and POL agents and sending vesselschedules to Customers, PODs agent and sales team.Quoting rates to customers and getting booking confirmation from them.Place the Bookings to international agents and Carriers and getting SO/CROand releases to cnee/shipper.Tracking of Vessel sailing and releasing on board BL/ surrender BL( pre-alertdocs) to cnee.Updating current status and tracking details of the shipments to Customers.Checking the arrival details with POL/POD agents with free days andupdating to customers and collecting IN and PL for clearance.Sending Manifest for Liner as well as co-loader for filing purpose and gettingDO as well.Sending Cargo Arrival Notice and invoice to customers.Updating split up and manifest and sending EDO to customers.Getting EWAY BILL from customers and organizing for delivery (end to endservice).Maintaining DSR and sending to customers.Daily activity database maintenance and discussing with teams.Getting SOA from POL agents and co-ordinating with accounts team toarrange payment.Preparing 15CA and bank documents for remittance and after credit periodaccording to agency agreement pushing accounts to clear payment.
