I oversee PCORI’s organizational learning strategy and evaluation activities as well as strategic planning, execution, and reporting.

I stepped back into this role to lead the team that supports the monitoring, evaluation, learning function across the organization. Together, we:- Delivered high-quality support to new business and programs in 15 countries.- Developed and maintained global standards, indicators, data systems, and processes for the organization. - Designed customized dashboards and analytics for decision-making so project teams can make data-informed decisions. during planning and implementation.- Designed, convened, and facilitated knowledge exchange and learning events that engendered country-led learning to improve how we deliver programs.- Designed and implemented global capacity strengthening and mentoring initiatives.

I led a team of experts specializing in market research and consumer insights, behavioral economics, social psychology, human-centered design, technology, and public health to innovate and test new products and services that can accelerate the pace of contraceptive uptake among women and girls in Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, and Ethiopia. My role has been that of sense-maker, honest broker, story teller, bridge-builder, and chief facilitator - bringing virtual teams together to listen to what women and girls want and design and deliver responsive products and services to them. Together, we designed, delivered and evaluated:- A behavioral-science backed board game, health passport, health facility posters normalized older school girls seeking sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and services in Burkina Faso. These solutions increased girls' accessing SRH information and services at health facilities by 26 percentage points. - A case-based counseling job aid for providers and commitment stickers for women helped women use oral contraceptive pills correctly and consistently in Bangladesh. These solutions are being replicated through the national family planning program.- A series of behaviorally-designed job aids implemented across antenatal visits, postnatal visits, and immunization days allowed postpartum women in Ethiopia to assess their pregnancy risk and take up a contraceptive method. These aids significantly increased modern contraceptive uptake.

I founded and mentored the organization's first data-focused team providing analytics and insights for business development, program evaluation, learning, knowledge exchange, performance and quality improvement to projects, teams, and Business Units across the organization. I led a high-performing team of 25+ global professionals and, together, we ensured that programmatic data and knowledge were captured, verified, analyzed, and used for learning, decision-making, and action within our programs. I designed and facilitated strategy, impact, and learning conversations using data, team experience, and contextual information. I facilitated seamless collaborations and work flows between my team and Operations, Business Development, Communications, External Engagement, Advocacy, and other Business Units.

As a member of the Senior Management Team of the Leadership, Management, and Governance (LMG) Project and MSH's Center for Leadership and Management, I led our work to collate, generate, and communicate evidence and results of our $300 million global project working in 20+ countries. I led the analysis, use, dissemination, and sharing of these results for program review, knowledge exchange and learning, strategy development and planning, and external communication. My team and I supported and enhanced the work of 50+ projects entrusted with over $750+ million across the organization. I designed and led the first-ever Global Retreat, the first ever 'data for strategy and planning'​ workshop at MSH, and increased our abstract acceptance rate at international conferences from <30% to >90% in two years. I was awarded MSH's highest Tao of Leadership Award embodying the principles of working with others, supporting their ability to be self-sustaining in reaching their goals, and demonstrating respect of others.

I undertook a global review of projects implementing leadership and management programs and designed a "going beyond metrics", 5-year approach to liberate and generate evidence around the nascent field of leadership, management, and governance in global health. I developed and implemented a research and learning agenda at the nexus of global health, industrial psychology, psychometrics, management, and leadership to advance the role of leadership and management in health systems strengthening interventions. I was promoted to the Director position within 8 months.

I led research and program teams to develop, design, implement and evaluate research and programs in HIV/AIDS, gender-based violence, stigma reduction and gender mainstreaming. I was responsible for providing strategic advice on these issues to a range of multilateral and bilateral donors and civil society organizations. I also designed, led, and evaluated leadership training initiatives to build the capacity of government and civil society leaders.I served as the technical advisor to a UNAIDS-supported civil society coalition. 3 of our 5 gender-focused policy recommendations were accepted and mainstreamed into Cambodia's National HIV/AIDS Strategic Plan. I designed and led the evaluation of a global women's leadership development program for women living with HIV.

I was responsible for leading teams to evaluate projects in a systematic and rigorous manner and to use the findings to inform the design and development of future projects. I specialized in utility-focused evaluations.

I managed and coordinated activities conducted by the International Research Core. This included managing a grants program, peer review for research proposals and two Working Groups. I also designed and analyzed qualitative and management data for a multi-year structural intervention project with sex workers in India.
