I'm a a highly motivated, results-driven acquisition professional with 18 years of experience in contract management and 13 years in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. I have had several roles in my acquisition career including Cost/Price Analyst, Contract Administrator, Contract Specialist, Administrative Contracting Officer, and Contracting Subject Matter Expert. Currently, I am a Contracts Director and I am responsible for overseeing a team of 40 acquisition personnel. I am responsible for safeguarding the interests of the United States in its contractual relationships by ensuring contractor compliance with terms and conditions to contracts, while identifying problems that threaten performance. I make decisions that are binding upon the Government. I have a passion for continuous process improvement and change management. During my tenure with Defense Contract Management Agency, I have led several cross functional teams through the lean six sigma toolkit to implement change and achieve cost savings. I have not only co-instructed Green Belt and Black Belt classes, but I led two Enterprise level projects--one through the DMAIC tollgates and one through the DMEDI tollgates.
