Hi, my name is Reshmen and I'm 18 years old. I’m currently a Business Management student at Nanyang Polytechnic. I’m a passionate, hardworking and curious learner with a keen interest in sports, particularly football. As a member of the Economists FC, football has taught me important life values such as resilience, teamwork and being hopeful even if things are going downhill.I served as the president of my secondary school’s National Cadet Corps, enhancing my leadership skills and gaining experience in planning, organising and public speaking.In secondary 3 I took up economics and became intrigued by the intricacies of banking and finance. I aspire to get a degree in banking to achieve my goal of becoming an investment banker. I even have plans to start a business at a later stage of my career. Even though I’m only 18 years old, I’ve tried about 6 different jobs such as banquet server, room service waiter, promoter, wheelchair ambassador, lifeguard and food cart attendant. Each of these jobs has taught me skills and lessons I can apply in my future endeavors making me a worthy employee and individual. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and gaining insightful experiences.
