Inpatient dispensing

Spearheading efforts across dispensing medical and surgical products as prescribed; interpreting and filling physicians’ prescriptions for customers on a daily basis; undertaking verification of patient information before filling a prescription; checking prescriptions for correct dosage and for drug interactions and incompatibilities.

Responsibilities as a Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist Able to prescribe and dispense over the counter medications with accuracy based on knowledge and experience. Expertise in handling insurances of major companies like Axa, Adnic, Oman, MetLife, Daman, Alico, Allianz, Health net etc, taking quick approvals and dispensing as per quantity. Experience in handling diverse customers from all around the globe since working in a pharmacy located in Marine, Near JLT Metro station, Dubai. Product knowledge about cosmetic brands like Bio Derma, Eucerin, Vichy, La-roach-posay, Pharmaceries etc and skilled in cross promoting all of the above. Product knowledge on vitamin supplements and skilled in cross promoting them. Have a track record of giving excellent customer services including follow ups, deliveries, answering customer queries and solving customer issues within specified time. Maintaining a 24 hour pharmacy with an average sale of 15,000 AED with a foot fall of one hundred and fifty customers per day Collaborating with a total of four pharmacist motivating, training and coordinating with them to abide to the ethics of the profession, norms of the company and achieving the average sales target with excellent customer service. Reporting to the area manager and cluster manager about the day today whereabouts of the pharmacy and other staffs. Able to run and maintain an entire pharmacy by myself maintaining the best inventory, merchandising the stocks, staffing and meeting the company sales target.
