Software Team Lead
CurrentRoles and Responsibilities• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.• Provide guidance for the team with technical architecture as needed.• Provide technical leadership through design and code reviews.• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.• Review incoming requirements and organize and delegate work amongst the team according to priorities, dependencies, experience and skill sets.• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.• Package and support deployment of releases.• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.• Maintain version control, configuration and defect management activities for all code developed. • Lead applications development staff and key users in defining, agreeing and implementing test plans for new and amended functions, and documenting outcomes.• Ensure that unit and systems testing are undertaken to required standards and work with the testing team to ensure that the releases meet agreed requirements and are fit for purpose. • Mentoring the project team with client communication, interpersonal communication, technical practices, etc.• Work with development team to troubleshoot development environment, production environment, performance tune and optimize code.• Support UAT and Production releases.• Participate in the interview process for new recruitment.• Conduct trainings.• Providing project status reports to project manager and client
