Resort Margate CIC is Resort Studios; a contemporary arts organisation founded in 2013 and still based in Margate, Kent. We support the development of artists and creative practitioners at all stages of their careers. We do this by providing our members with a diverse range of heated, genuinely affordable solo and shared artists' studios and desk spaces that are open to members 24 hours a day. Resort Studios membership includes use of our bookable print studio facilities for Screen Printing, Etching & Relief Printing, and Letterpress. Our building is wheelchair accessible with a ramp, and we have an accessible toilet. We have round-the-clock CCTV, on-site security, and free parking in the car park.Beyond physical spaces, our cultural capital is conversation and collaboration rooted in authentic engagement and encouragement for/by/with/between artists, designers and creative businesses.
