The REST Report runs analytics on the current NPV 5.x platform used by all of the major servicers and give the decision based on these parameters. Unlike the servicers platform if a loan does not pass for a loan modification or short sale program it will tell you why a file does not pass for each program. It also includes multiple Automated Value Models from the same providers the servicers use. It derives and presents multiple loan modification terms including HAMP Tier 1 and 2 Standard and PRA, FHA, In House modification and principal reduction programs (such as the DOJ Settlements), that are affordable to the borrower while still providing the lender with the highest possible return on their investment. It proposes the best win-win loan disposition options given the existing loan terms and the borrower's current financial situation. The REST Report now offers Standard Short sale options as well as the HAFA Short Sale programs.If the bank's only viable choice IS to foreclose, the REST Report can show this early on and give everyone some insight as to what might need to change to avoid the foreclosure and change this potential outcome.
