Delphine Resteigne is Professor of Sociology at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels and Associate Professor at the University of Mons. Holding a Master's degree and Aggregation in Sociology, she further expanded her academic expertise with a Master's degree in International Politics. Delphine earned her Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences (Free University of Brussels) and in Social and Military Sciences (Royal Military Academy).She brings a wealth of expertise to her academic endeavors, particularly in the fields of Recruitment & Retention, Organizational Sociology, and Diversity and Inclusion research (including gender and ethnic diversity). Her comprehensive knowledge extends to survey design and analysis, encompassing both qualitative and public opinion surveys. Her work explores the recruitment and motivation of military personnel, shedding light on critical aspects of organizational dynamics.She extends her influence beyond academia by participating in various international associations. She actively contributes to NATO working groups as the Belgian representative, demonstrating her dedication to international collaboration. She has been elected vice-president of the research group 'Armed Forces and Conflict Resolution' within the International Sociological Association (ISA).
