I have made my living in the service of the rich and privileged on some of the most elaborate estates in the world. I did $1.2m worth of work on the Arizona Ice tea estate in Port Washington, its valued at $40m.I used used to have a 15 man crew, three trucks and office and a secretary. I gave that all up because I was too busy to work and I actually enjoy doing the work. To me work and using my body and tools to create something and to do something that makes the world more beautiful is enjoyable. I also like my own company and being able to think about whatever I want to while I’m working without distractions. That’s why I work alone now occasionally taking some help if there is pressure on a deadline. I got into this business as a compromise because what I wanted to do was too expensive and I couldn’t access the capital to do it. Soon thanks to my art collection activities I will have the money to do many of the things I dreamed about when I was younger. At that point I won’t be taking any jobs working on other peoples homes I’ll be working exclusively on my projects.I worked for Martha Stewart and her daughter Alexis in East Hampton and I learned from her where the real money is. The real money is in the story and in the creation of an infotainment project. That’s why I have documented all my work for decades with video files and pictures.I have written books and soon will be producing a podcast show. Soon I’ll have the money to produce my own show and do my own endorsement deals. My interesting story with the artwork and with the cat rescue get me national attention on TV and in the Wall Street JournalI am currently working on restoration of a Victorian home on Long Island.I have done Venetian plaster, gold leaf, glazing, color washes, murals, aged stains and lime washes in cabinetry and doors, Faux stone and casting of fireplace mantles, plaster molding installation,and stenciled wall treatments.I am currently working on a book about all the work I have done in mansions of the Gold Cost of Long Island and the NY metro area .I am also working on to exciting art restoration projects with famous art works by Hundertwasser and Malvina Hoffman. The story about the Hundertwasser mural restoration project has been featured in three news stories including one in the Wall Street Journal.
