At the Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate to help all disabled people make the journeys they choose. There are a few key ways we make this happen.We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. We award grants to charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. Established and delivered, reporting to the Group CHRO, a transformation of the global HR operation, technology, compliance, and staff experience.Delivered significant business benefits across HR overheads, head-office structure and staff scheduling in addition to improved business resilience.Built an in-house team of over 200 delivering digital apps for staff to organise their work and employment leading to improved workforce productivity.Led the HR shared services supporting the European workforce consisting of over 250 staff in India and delivering improved service levels and cost reductions. Implemented an ERP leading to a functional re-structure and an overhaul of risk management.

Devised and implemented the workforce strategy which provided the foundation to delivering a significant reduction in payroll costs over 3 years. This included the benefit realisation method and the control mechanisms used to protect the customer experience.

Drove the efficiency of the Tesco UK stores operating model covering a payroll budget of over £4bn through a team of 50 Project Managers and Business Analysts.Pivoted the approach away from cost-reduction towards value-creation driving the necessary operational change to successfully deliver a significant improvement in operating leverage.Delivered change programmes implementing technology, organisation, ways of working and infrastructure improvements including the introduction of self-service checkouts, scan as you shop, shop-floor automation and workload reduction.

Established a portfolio of projects delivering more than £60m per annum alongside a research and development function and a permanent team of 35 Project Managers and Business Analysts.
