In my current role at Momentum as a Business Systems Analyst, I am serving as a liaison between the business units and IT, utilizing business knowledge and experience to assess current functions and processes and recommend changes to solve problems and where applicable, provide technical solutions to meet business needs and improve business outcomes. Some of my day to day activities include:Engage with stakeholders to understand current processes, elicit business rules and requirementsAnalyze requirements and processes through various techniques including document analysis, interviews, modelling and workshopsTranslate requirements into tangible deliverables such as functional requirement specifications, use cases, user stories, process diagrams and data modelsAssist with testing including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testingSecond line operational support

As CLC Business Analyst I am part of the BPM Team where I am mainly responsible to investigate and analyze current and new client’s business processes and propose enhancement or new development where possible. I am also responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the WMS system and the Fleet Management & Routing system nationally. Resolve day-to-day business process-related problems and queries Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved proceduresCreating functional specifications and system design specifications (FD / SRS)Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system changes, assists in preparation of proposals to develop new systems or processesIdentify interfaces required with Customers and define Customer functions and processes (IRS)Mapping of interfaces (XML / TXT /CSV / SAP IDOC) between Customers and HWL-ZA (SRS / TP)Project Management (SMARTSHEET)Involved in testing of system changes and interfaces up to implementationActs as liaison between HWL-ZA, Customers and technical analysts to ensure optimal operational performanceInform end-users regarding changesCreating of end-user documentation and training (UM)

Managing various projects for the Warehousing & Transport Division including: Infrastructure – Warehouse restructuring, layout & planning Security – CCTV camera systems, access control, TAPA accreditation, etc. Upgrades & Improvements – various projects including infrastructure, systems & processes. Revenue & Cost Saving – investigating opportunities to increase revenue stream / reduce cost in warehousing and transport leg of the supply chain. Occupational Health & Safety – various projects to ensure compliance to OHS standards Other duties: Personal Assistant to Operations General Manager, Arranging social and team building events and conferences
