Since I was young, good financial stewardship was something that was ingrained in me. I have clear memories of my parents spending time explaining the value of a dollar and how powerful even a basic understanding of money can be. Even after the many years of my career, these lessons are still foundational in the work that I do with clients. My desire is to ensure that the individuals and families get to reach a level of confidence that I was blessed with, by having someone there to be their guide.I believe that trust is not born solely from education and title, but also earned through action and effort. I believe that good financial counsel and advice needs to come from a place of objectivity. Financial advice and counsel is a very personal process and those that provide it, must always work to ensure that the personal aspect of the advice given, is never overlooked. Does my advisor have my best interests first? Does my advisor understand how my decisions can impact all aspects of my financial situation? Objectivity and awareness should be core requirements for any advisor.
