I have an avid interest in biological sciences and land management and would like to pursue this in a career. Having worked as a Clinical Trial Assistant at Linear Clinical Research, I gained experience with data entry, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Along with the ability to be flexible and adaptive in the workplace, to adjust to changing studies and SOPs. I gained experience in working with animals while an animal handler/driver at Jetpets, interacting with customers from all walks of life and backgrounds. While volunteering at Summer Fields Farm in Karaka, New Zealand, I learnt to always follow through and the importance of resilience. This experience helped me develop into the person I want to become and recognise that though I always wanted to work with animals, I care deeply about the environment they inhabit too. This spurred me on to study a double major in Biology and Environmental Management at Edith Cowan University which has driven me to develop my problem-solving skills and fine-tune my critical thinking in association with this topic.
