After my engagement with Sony Music Entertainment, I was hired to serve as the development lead and senior architect in a full-site redevelopment in Drupal 7 for NBC Universal Ivillage.com. • Built a high-performing, scalable application using a segmented multisite configuration and a fully loaded internal-facing editorial interface.• Streamlined public-facing segment behind Akamai and developed a headless processing segment for computationally intensive tasks.• Introduced new tools and best practices to the development team, including Atlassian Stash and a robust Git “pull request” workflow for development, testing, and release workflows.• Significantly improved the internal user interface by streamlining editorial process through a number of user-friendly widgets.

In this assignment, I created feature enhancements and resolved long-standing bugs and vendor integration problems for a Drupal-based (v.6) artist website services (AWS) platform that hosts 200+ artists, including Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash.• Improved platform through intensive utilization of modern Scrum agile software development using GitHub and Jira best practice workflow.• Assisted with the development of Drupal 7-based AWS platform, ported legacy modules, and designed new features.

While at Stanford, I was the sole developer of complete Drupal 6 websites for departments within the university, including the Department of Political Science, the Department of Psychology, the Department of Chemistry, and the Center for Latin American Studies.• Partnered with departmental staff and faculty on website content.• Brought structure to the Stanford-wide web identity as well as its technology platform, technology, and practices.

After developing Drupal 6 websites for Stanford University, I was hired as the technical lead for a Drupal 7 rewrite of the global corporate website for a large, geographically dispersed PR firm. The website was a design-driven and technically robust revisualization of the public Ketchum identity and serves as a central resource for current and prospective clients.• Served as the sole developer of the company’s online periodical, KetchumPerspectives.com, from scratch; periodical has different issues with very different looks.

After a year with the Warner Music Group, I was hired to develop the official website for Frank Sinatra. The website includes an online store, articles, gallery, and community discussion forums. I also created a customized ecommerce platform.

In this role, I spearheaded web development efforts for both the corporation and its subsidiaries and was the primary resource for new and experimental web content sites. I also trained and mentored junior developers and collaborated with the graphic design team on corporate and consumer portals as well as sites such as wmg.com, warnermusic.com, instavid.com, musicinformation.com, and a number of internal websites.
