Mike's Place is an American-style live music and sports venue that serves as a 'home away from home' for the many expatriates, tourists, and students now in Israel. Mike's Place was a Jerusalem landmark for 18 years, but closed when their historic location was torn down to make room for a department store. I joined the Mike's Place team in financing the re-opening of Mike's Place Jerusalem in a much grander scale. In structuring our arrangement, the Jerusalem branch has become the first franchise in the growing Mike's Place chain.

As a senior designer in a small elite firm I am responsible for all facets of running an architectural office and developing projects. Our primary focus is exclusive private residences in older neighborhoods many of which involve extensive historical preservation.

Part of a design team responsible for all aspects of the design process, from conceptual through permits; design development, construction and completion, on large scale (greater than 5000 square meters) buildings for the commercial, educational, health and residential sectors.

The Gorali firm specialized in large government projects including much landscape design. As a young architect I worked on public parks, the Israel airforce museum, and public housing development.
