• Arrange orders of operation to lean-up product line and produce high-quality products more efficiently, thereby reducing production costs• Align multiple turrets during production and final testing, some with up to eight payloads• Perform environmental testing on turrets• Build multiple turrets from start to finish and assist in final calibration• Troubleshoot, update, and repair components on turrets, collimators, and production equipment• Use SolidWorks to update work instructions, incorporating technical drawings, photos, and models for clearer instructions for the production team• Support lead engineers in modifying prototype parts for in-house rework, identify issues with functionality, interferences, and other issues, and test for production• Update part revisions/prototype to most current revision with precision machine work on mill and lathe • Inspect incoming AC-14 telescopes: check MTF for each telescope and complete visual inspection• Build harnesses using quality standards to connect many components throughout the turret• Inspect all incoming PCBs and assist with machine part inspections• Replace components on PCBs, meeting Class 2 soldering specifications• Program PCBs using FPGA and MSP software• Update Excel spreadsheet logs keeping detailed documentation

I work with the owner/engineer to create drawings and 3D models of PDI's fiberglass products for underground, electrical, water, wind energy, waste water, and related industries. I also film and edit instructional videos for clients and in-house training. I create and edit visual elements for our Web designer, and I help our sales staff by creating quotes and bills of materials.
