As an Academic Excellence Manager, I worked with 16 schools to operationalise and manage academics and facilitate 100% adoption of LEAD curriculum. I also onboarded about 100 teachers by conducting over 40 training sessions and feedback-based workshops. I observed more than 130 classes and worked with the school leadership to improve effectiveness of classroom teaching. These training sessions aided in achieving 70% average student scores across the schools.

As a Development Executive for content, I was responsible for developing a repository of lesson plans for English, Math and EVS for grades 1 to 5. The lesson plans that I created included effective teaching strategies like 'See-Think-Wonder', 'K-W-L Charts', 'Think-Pair-Share', etc. that helped in building critical thinking skills among children.Apart from this, I standardised and reviewed reference notes for children to maintain consistency across classes and alignment to learning objectives. I created and reviewed a repository of highly effective English and Math assessments for grades 4 and 5. I also conducted over 5 teacher training sessions on creating lesson plans and executing them effectively and taught English to classes 6 to 8 with a prime focus on building creative thinking and public speaking skills.

As a fellow, I taught English, Math and Science to 75+ students across classes 5, 6 and 8 at a corporation school in Chennai. I initiated and set up a house and club system to promote extra-curricular activities among the students throughout the year.I also co-organised Chennai Students Kondattam (CSK), a fellow-led initiative for 2 consecutive years. The event included about 30 events across Literacy, Mathematics, Arts, Sports and management activities and received a participation of more than 3000 students across the Teach for India classrooms in Chennai.

I did a 5-month dissertation project on microbiology and worked on identifying the effect of different concentrations of a stress molecule in E coli bacteria.

I was awarded summer research fellowship by IASc- INSA- NASI. As part of my project, I worked on identifying the effect of chemicals on cells of immune system in tumor microenvironment.

I worked on protein modelling to identify structural changes in the protein molecules causing tuberculosis.
