Americas Future (AF) is on a mission to empower young people (ages 29-40) to make a positive impact in their communities with the conviction that change starts close to home. Parable Media is a nationally recognized communication nonprofit that offers a wide range of storytelling services (websites, video, design, etc) to Christian nonprofits and churches. In my role, I help Parable tell its story to donors and partner organizations in order to cultivate new funding streams. I write grants for Parable and other organizations using our services, oversee donor engagement and outreach, and assist with a variety of other tasks to help cultivate new partners.

Working with the Pathways to Repair, Placemaking Lab, and NC Thrives programs at the Ormond Center, my work included helping small nonprofits with grant writing, fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational leadership/change management. I also served on a committee that develop the NC Thrives Strategic Plan and the Ormond Center's Theory of Change. As Executive Director of The Rural Collaborative Education Program (October 2022-May 2023), I managed its launch, fundraising (over $350,000 in grants and in-kind gifts) and the program's integration into Campbell University's School of Education. Shine Tutoring connects churches, education schools, tutoring centers, and families to improve educational literacy, linking students with tutoring resources and SEL experts to create supportive environments for all learners

I helped with coordination of the Offering for Global Missions fundraising, organized the Missions Marketplace and silent auction, and created resources for the Field Personnel Fundraising Training Module, including video and print materials to boost donations. I later served with the CBF Foundation Team where I researched donors using SalesForce and Classy, managed administrative and donation tasks, participated in strategy sessions with CBF Field Personnel, developed print resources, and contributed to Major Donor receptions at the CBF General Assembly.

I spent the summer serving as a pre-enrollment Field Education placement through the Duke Divinity School Office of Field Education. I helped the church transition during Covid and led youth virtually, leading them in a "Summer of Kindness Campaign" that directed them in meaningful ways to participate in the community and family during a time of quarantine.
