Reverend Doctor Norman Wong is a Methodist pastor in Singapore with more than 40 years of ministry behind him. He now serves as Chaplain of the Methodist Welfare Services. A retired Elder from the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC), he remains an active preacher in the Methodist Church.He has previously served as pastor in six Methodist churches - three of them as Pastor-in-Charge. He was also Director of the Methodist Schools Ministry, TRAC Youth Ministry and the Methodist Missions Society.Rev Dr Wong strongly believes that language is the key to fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission to make disciples of all nations and has learnt to preach the Gospel in Mandarin. During his stint as Director of Missions, he and his team developed a method of teaching English particularly suited for the mission field. He was called at a very young age to Christian service and studied at the London Bible College for his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theology. He earned his Doctor of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation in the US. He also has a Master of Letters from the University of Stirling in Scotland and Master of Theology from the Trinity Theological College in Singapore.
