In 2012 pastor Ed planted a church in Rio, Brazil, called Pier49. Over the course of 7 years, they have successfully established 5 congregations across 3 different states. Pastor Ed decided to step down from the role of senior pastor at Pier49 in January 2021 to respond to a calling to serve God in Canada. To this day pastor Ed continues to mentor the local pastors of these churches.

Pastor Ed Rocha has over 25 years of experience as an ordained pastor, speaker, and public speaker. Additionally, he has 18 years of experience as a professional family counsellor. He loves to communicate God's truths and share the full gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, which he has done in 22 countries. Pastor Ed Rocha has planted ten churches in Brazil, four of which he currently supervises. He has a Bachelor's degree in Theology and a Master's degree in Education and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling.

Rev. Ed Rocha has worked as a professional counsellor since 2005, and he is currently affiliated with the International Association of Christian Counseling Professionals (IACCP).

In December 2005, Rev. Ed Rocha was invited by Dr. Randy Clark to plan, prepare, organize, and coordinate his mission trips in Brazil, a role he dedicated himself to full-time for seven years. During this period, Rev. Rocha also travelled extensively within the United States and Europe, where he engaged in ministering and preaching. In 2008, his wife, Dani, took over the coordination responsibilities, and she continues to serve as the Coordinator for Brazil to this day. Rev. Rocha remains actively involved in the Global Awakening Network, consistently assisting Randy Clark, whom he regards as a beloved mentor and spiritual father, during his visits to Brazil.
