It DirectorDdb Worldwide Mar 2002 - Jan 2007- 4 offices AUS/NZ, 550+ users, 9 IT Staff spread around- 40+ servers,NAS, SAN, LAN, Tape Libraries- Implemented a complete Disaster Recovery system and procedures that would allow all 3 Australian sites to be taken down simultaneously and users would still be able to work with a maximum of one hour's loss of data.- Implemented processes, controls and procedures to ensure compliance with US Sarbanes Oxley legislation. These processes are audited quarterly by KPMG and each time we pass with flying colours. Our processes have been mirrored to other DDB offices across the region.- Project managed the relocation and reconfiguration of some 215 PCs and Macintosh computers when DDB relocated from North Sydney to Ultimo. This had to be done in less than one weekend and had to fit around the last minute fit out of the new office and the installation of power and the network.- Project managed the change over of the ERP for the entire organisation. This included new hardware procurement, creating a financial system ('books') on the new software, training the users and creating documentation.- Created and implemented a number of web based applications to increase productivity and efficiency for both the help desk and the users. These included a knowledge base for support issues, a system to book training, a system to book meeting rooms and an online photo library for our clients.- Produced a company intranet that is a one stop shop for all employee requirements including forms, documentation, news, phone lists, birthdays, important information and fun sections. - Created and implemented numerous extranets for clients such as Michelin, Kmart, ANZ, Wrigley's and News Limited. These sites were created to facilitate fast communication with our clients on up coming campaigns and also to save money on printing, media and courier costs.
