With over 20 years of ordained ministry and a deep commitment to serving communities and fostering spiritual growth, I bring a wealth of experience in pastoral care, community outreach, and inclusive leadership. My journey has been enriched by a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Sydney College of Divinity, a Master’s in Applied Psychology from Adler University, and my current participation in the online Doctor of Ministry (DMin) cohort at Chicago Theological Seminary. These academic pursuits have profoundly shaped my approach to ministry, emphasizing the importance of psychological well-being alongside spiritual health.My international ministerial experiences in Australia, Scotland, and Alaska have offered me diverse perspectives on faith, community engagement, and inclusivity. In Scotland, I was honored to serve on the Scottish Round Table on Sexuality and the Church, contributing to critical dialogues around faith, sexuality, and inclusion. This role, alongside my advocacy work for homeless LGBTQ youth in Alaska and organizing annual Pride events, underscores my commitment to a ministry that celebrates diversity and practices unconditional acceptance.Living with foster children in a therapeutic care setting has imparted in me the significance of creating a nurturing environment, lessons that are invaluable in pastoral care. My work at the Thomas Center for Senior Living further honed my empathetic leadership and ability to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of the senior community. These experiences have equipped me with the patience, understanding, and resilience necessary to lead a congregation through both challenges and celebrations. One major lesson I have learnt, every single human being is sacred and deserving of my respect.I have also contributed to the discourse on ministry and inclusivity through publications, including chapters in "Ministry: In and Out" by Gahan and Jones, and “When Our Children Come Out” by Pallotta-Chiarolli. Combined with my master’s thesis on The Decline of the Catholic Church show academic commitment and ability. These works reflect my dedication to understanding and addressing the needs and concerns of our faith communities, particularly regarding navigating faith and identity.
