NO LONGER IN THE GAME: (John Lennon)I've had the pleasure of having time to pursue personal interests, not the least of which was flying a Cirrus aircraft over every state in the lower forty eight. Over the course of the last four years I've been drawn to more spiritual pursuits. Having read the preface of A Course in Miracles, I seemed drawn to the text and the workbook as if metal chaffing to a magnet. My concentrated effort over the course of the past twelve months have culminated with graduation as a minister. I am humbled and excited to see where this leads in my final few decades here.STAFFING CONSULTANT:I recruited technical and management talent for over three decades. The contingency search business taught me business development and cold-calling skills. The semiconductor business taught me high volume staffing and refined my work ethic. Learning the telecom and networking business at SynOptics and Stratacom prepared me to effectively staff Juniper Networks as their first recruiter. Working with Pradeep Sindhu and Scott Kreins and all the early birds at Juniper was very gratifying and rewarding. I am humbled to think of the excellent professionals I have worked with over the years, whom I now consider dear friends.After Juniper, I was blessed to return to my lake home in Minnesota where I have seen my three children finish high school and college and begin their working lives with a passion.

MinisterNorthern Light Sanctuary Jan 2019 - PresentGrand Rapids, MnStudied A Course In Miracles daily for the past four years and dedicating my life and study to God this past year in ministry training at Modern Miracles under Rev. Lisa Windsor near Vancouver, BC. I have graduated as a Minister/Teacher of God. This is both exciting and humbling. I am exploring on-line training, spiritual coaching and providing a retreat for those needing a quiet, supportive environment for unwinding our minds from our busy, distracted lives back to our Source. The Course, quoting from the Preface, "Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end." The Course can be summed up in three sentences:"Nothing real can be threatened.Nothing unreal exists.Herein lies the peace of God"Although established as a self-study program, I have found it helpful to join with others who are applying the principles and sharing both their personal miracles and challenges along the way toward undoing time and belief in the ego self. Ceo & Summer SlackerPeninsula Advisors Llc Jul 2007 - PresentGrand Rapids MnI'm at my lake home in northern Minnesota for the summer. We are in that season that reminds me why I choose to live here. I'm a slave to my 2 1/2 acre lake front home. After putting in the dock and boat lift, boats and swimming raft, I clean an acre of lawn of pine needles and cones that the 130 foot white pines deposit on the lawn. After the freeze and four and a half feet of snow the lawn needs a lot of love. Don't get me wrong it's a labor of love. I'll think of you all as I'm boating out to watch the sunset with a cigar. I'm waiting the the next interesting start-up to come calling in the fall.
