As the Advocacy Curriculum & Strategy Director, responsible for empowering Hispanic pastors and community leaders with culturally tailored education and strategies, focusing on key issues such as Paid Family Leave, Housing, and Immigration. Leading the development of accessible educational materials and programs, collaborating with stakeholders to drive action at federal, state, and local levels. Facilitating strategic planning, community engagement, and training sessions, while maintaining accurate records to demonstrate progress and impact. Dedication to advancing advocacy efforts and fostering positive change within the Hispanic community.

Work in developing the state infrastructure of the organization as well train the clergy leadership in the state.

Provide spiritual support to the agencies that are first responders here in Durham County (i.e.DPD,Fire Dept., EMS, 911 Call Center).

The Durham Human Relations Commission, which is comprised of 15 Durham residents who meet monthly to work on activities designed to improve human relations and promote harmony throughout Durham.

My roles as a clergy was to advise the the Durham Crisis Response Center on how to approach and assist the Hispanic Community with issues as Domestic Violence, Rape and other situations that are harmful to the family and the community.

Manage students’ enrollments and their tuition. Provide the faculty staff the necessary tools to help provide the material that they are presenting. Conglomerate the faculty's evaluations from the students. Arrange any meetings with possible students as well other organizations that can benefit from our services.

Provide assistance to the Senior Pastor of the Iglesia Guerrero de Jesucristo as well any need that any of the parishioners’ might have. Work for the community in a variety of events that promote environment awareness and education rights for those that don't have it. Recently I was involved in a group of concerned citizens promoting the Matricula Consular from the Mexican Consulate with the City of Durham. Now the document is recognized as a valid form of ID for those that can't have one from anywhere else. Also I took part in promoting a boycott to the state of Arizona in regards to any Durham City Council members to visit or do business while SB 1070 was uphold. I’m currently managing the ministry of clergy at the Durham County Correction Facility. There I visit inmates that are in need of listening to words of love, mercy and the true Gospel.

Provided information to the community in regards to programs that could benefit them from non-profits organizations and local and state agencies. The show was every Sunday for an hour and had guest from:Chief Jose Lopez (Durham Police Department)Diane Evia-Lanevi (Triangle Community Foundation)Yvonne Peña (City of Durham Human Relations)and others.
