Rob Walters is the founder and CEO of MedEsystem Corporation in Dallas, TX; a portable patient health record (PPHR) company that enables seamless integration of MedEsystem patient histories into existing electronic medical record (EMR) systems. This technology allows patients to carry their medical records with them at all times where any first responder, physician or healthcare provider can view the record by computer without requiring custom software.

At Sun Microsystems (Oracle) I ran the Government Education and Healthcare Channel for the Central US. I was directly responsible for the channel sales revenue for 7 Sun account executives and 35 reseller reps for the largest region in North America. Under my management I surpassed quota each year and the Central Region became the top producing region with over $400M in cumulative channel revenue. My teams grew channel utilization rates from 65% in 2006 to 95% in 2009.

At STK I managed VAD/VAR and healthcare OEM relationships for the South Central Region which consisted of over 25 computer reseller and distributor relationships. I was directly responsible for the channel sales revenue for 25 STK sales reps and 150 reseller reps. Under my management we surpassed quota, grew region revenue to $45M, increased channel utilization rates from 35% to 90% which resulted in 70% of my reps making quota in 2006.
