About Eric Rewitzer
I started my graphic arts career in 1991 as a pixel jockey. Retouching photos with Photoshop led to designing a digital infrastructure to support increasingly larger file sizes. In 1996 I found myself being called a software evangelist, trekking around the world for several small technology companies that developed innovative and sought-after software solutions for the graphic arts industry.Then I landed at Apple. I got my entrepreneurial and marketing chops in Cupertino, working with some of the best and brightest minds I had ever encountered. Inspired and confident in my abilities, I left Apple in 2001 to begin my own systems integration company. In 2006, I wanted to start something new, and focus my efforts into building a sustainable artistic practice. I left the hi-tech world and co-founded 3 Fish Studios with my wife, Annie Galvin. Since then I've been a full-time artist focusing on printmaking and running a small, community-based business. I am a teacher, entrepreneur, and advocate for the arts. I enjoy making art, developing solid business models for marketing and selling it, and showing others how to rekindle their creative spark.I am curious to explore where my business background and artistic success can be combined to forge new opportunities.
