Part of the Theatre Transportation Mission: responsible for the coordination of the Heavy Truck and MHE Transportation Sites. Responsibilities included - Analyzing data to determine trends of unsafe/safe work practices, Carrying out compliance audits on Risk Based approach, Design Philosophy and the effectiveness of the system in an integrated approach to behavioural base safety for an incident injury free work place.Coach, train and guide all KBR employees and subcontracted workers on best practice safety management.Implement the company's health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines including OSHA, NEC, NFPA and Military Regulations. Investigate all OSHA Recordable / Reportable Incidents, Injuries and Near Misses.Review AHAs (Activity Hazard Analysis) to ensure that employees are taking the time to identify potential work site and task safety hazards work site.Assist with field training as needed, teaching required HSE classes, providing instruction for Transportation Commercial Vehicle Operations. Provide training classes from Heavy Vehicle Operations to Light Vehicle, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and various monthly classes.Achievements include:Part of team to come up with ideas and ways to help lower accident and incident rate with the company. By doing more hands on training helped lower the rate from 2.02 TCIR (total case incident rate) to a low of 1.42 in Aug. Currently at 1.50 with this part of our highest volume of movement months. Jul to Oct heaviest months. MVIR (motor vehicle incident rate) went from 1.75 to 1.11. *Part of HSE team to set up HSE operations at a base for TTM (Theatre Transportation Mission). Implement training, site inspections, site visits, raising safety awareness. *Tasked with mentoring co-workers and for the past year have been working to assist co-workers with interaction among employees, working on and with writing reports.
