Rex Christensen MHA, R.T. R, CT, MR, MRSO, CIIP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiologic Sciences at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He is currently working on his Ph.D in Health Administration. He has worked in the radiology profession for 28 years as a staff Radiologic Technologist, MR Technologist, CT Technologist, Radiology Manager, Chief of Operations at an imaging center, and PACS Administrator. He received his Bachelors of Science at Weber State University in 1994, with a major in Advanced Radiologic Science and a minor in Health Administration Services. In 2008 he completed his Masters of Health Administration at Weber State University and began teaching full-time that same year. He currently teaches a variety of courses including: computerized imaging, quality control in radiology, PACS, advanced visualization and 3D printing. Before teaching he worked in a variety of different radiology settings including: out-patient imaging centers, non-profit hospitals, for-profit hospitals, and a teaching hospital. He loves working with people in the profession and finds great satisfaction in seeing others embrace the culture and technology in the Radiologic Science community.
