I have spent the last 35 years working on the Mast Mounted Sight (MMS) program with the Army's OH-58D helicopter. Over 20 of those years were spent establishing and operating Forward Repair Activities (FRAs) domestically and overseas to include deployed areas where we performed depot repairs on MMS components for our military customers. In order to ensure the success of the FRAs I have created, modified and implemented processes and procedures for repair and support of the electro optical components of the MMS as well as the operation of the FRAs. This also included: Managing and repairing test equipment (TMDE) Component level repair of the FRAs test sets, Research and sourced obsolete and hard to find parts Installed and maintained computers, software, routers, wireless extenders, printers Training new employees and customer maintainers on the operation and repair of the MMS Writing and updating repair procedures Submitting changes to Army Technical Manuals, providing essential feedback from the customer to our product support and engineering departments.The last 4 years have been spent located with the customer at their sites to include deployed areas.Over time I have become a go to guy in our department mostly due to my knack for being able to fix things, my curiosity for answers and finding them and noticing the little things that others miss.

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair the TACAN(s), Non Directional Beacons (NDBs), MRAALs and all associated support equipment. While on instructor duty I provided component level theory instruction and maintained all equipment used for class labs.
