Rex Evans is a principal and founder of the Walnut Creek, California office of Cardea Partners (www.cardeapartners.com). Cardea Partners is an independent derivative advisory firm dedicated to providing objective interest rate and foreign exchange hedging solutions. Prior to establishing the West Coast office for CP, he spent seventeen years at Bank of America in their capital markets group advising corporate and private clients on managing interest rate and foreign exchange risk through the use of derivatives . During his tenure at the bank, he managed the Latin American foreign exchange desk and was a currency trader taking proprietary positions for the bank. Before beginning his career at the bank, Mr. Evans worked for West Coast Continental Securities providing investment solutions for middle market corporate pension plans and high net worth individuals. Mr. Evans has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
