I am a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP, DBA), and have experience in implementing the major system components used to create technology-driven solutions.I have more than 20 years of experience developing financial solutions for small and large Government Contractors using Fortran, RPG, Cobol, Pascal and Visual Basic in a number of environments. In my most recent years I have used Visual Basic in local network environments to provide financial business solutions to clients.In my early years (1962) I participated in the space program as a software developer, implementing various non-financial software solutions for the NASA Space Program. In 1964 I joined a team of developers to automate the accounting and inventory system on Univac equipment for a major liquor distributer in New Orleans, LA. Mission accomplished.In 1966 I joined a team of developers at Goddard Space Flight Center to develop an automated accounting system to track the contractors working in the Space Program. Mission accomplished. In 1967 I joined a Life Science company, Hazleton Laboratories to develop their Financial and Scientific applications on IBM equipment. Mission Accomplished.In 1969 my partner and I formed a company to provide clinical trial application software solutions to a major drug manufacturer in Boston, MA. I developed all the Clinical Trial Software and later developed my second Government Contracting Software Accounting application including Payroll. We sold the company to PayAmerica in 1977.For 25 years, I served as President of PayAmerica, a leading outsourcer of Payroll and Project Management services. I directed the evolution of PayAmerica from a small, local batch processing company to a sophisticated user of on-line technology that employed several hundred associates in 4 offices. PayAmerica was sold in 1997.1998-2000 Retired2001 - I served as President of Payroll Network, a leading provider of Human Capital Management and Payroll Services in the DC metropolitan area. I retired in 2020.My systems/development background includes solutions that incorporate the Internet, Relational Data Bases, Local and Remote Networking, Application Development Tools, and Network Operating Systems.Specialties: Human Capital Management and Payroll Solutions integrated with Accounting & Project Management systems and services.
