Rex A. Stanley, RN, CMM, CPC, CHBC, CRS, CPCO, PCSMr. Stanley is President of ALPHA II, LLC. Where, in addition to his other duties, he heads up the consulting division and directs the editorial board for the ICD-9 publication Easy Coder. Stanley has also served on the editorial board of the monthly periodical The Health Care Practitioner. With more than thirty Five years of experience in the medical field, Stanley has worked in a variety of clinical and administrative positions, including Chief Financial Officer for a 68-physician multi-specialty group.He is a member of numerous professional and honorary associations. He is a past President of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, and the Society of Medical and Dental Consultants. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Association of Reimbursement Specialist and National Association of Healthcare Consultants. He is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, the Professional Association of Health Care Office Managers, the American College of Medical Coding Specialist and the Professional Association of Healthcare Coding Specialist. Mr. Stanley has extensive and detailed knowledge of coding, reimbursement, compliance, fraud and abuse issues. He does consulting work in all areas of reimbursement, auditing, compliance, physician and staff training. He is a nationally known speaker at seminars through out the country.
