I helm K9Assistance's social media and outreach initiatives, advocating for life-changing Assistance Dogs for People with Disabilities in Singapore.

I worked a year in HTX, writing articles for the corporate website, as well as being part of the editorial team for the TechXplain initiative, an e-magazine that helps to explain difficult or novel technological concepts for the layman. I was also a content manager for the corporate website and staff portal, assisting to post website articles, update content, and create new interactive pages to broaden HTX's communications efforts.During my time here, I had the privilege to meet and interview dedicated scientists and engineers who may seem like your average Joe - but underneath the nerdy exterior, their hearts burn with the noble goal of pushing the boundaries of technological innovation, all to ensure that Singapore's Home Team is ever ready for tomorrow's threats.Amazing inventions and friendships were made here!

Interning at Mothership was an eye-opening experience. I am grateful that my supervisor, Nyi Nyi Thet, trusted me to conduct interviews and write stories independently, which allowed my writing style to flourish. Being able to share stories from all around Singapore has taught me that empathy is the key to creating amazing stories. As Mothership is a digital news platform, I was also able to add more engaging visual media within my articles, such as infographics, gifs and even memes, on top of the photographs I take. Not only does it engage readers, I was also able to express my creativity in composing such rich stories.Althoughit was only a six-month internship, I am glad to have been part of Mothership's awesome team, and their encouragement had made me grow as a writer.

Part of the Digital Access team, I had worked to help seniors, persons with disabilities and people from lower-income households get digitally connected. It was the best team I had ever worked with. I especially want to thank my mentor Ms Sharon Low for her guidance and nuggets of wisdom that allowed me to grow in skill and character.During my time there, I created collaterals, prepared case studies, made an animated video and interviewed beneficiaries. One of the highlights of my internship was the Digital Inclusion Festival, where I was part of the PR team that planned the video schedule and tailed Minister S. Iswaran's festival tour. I had also helped to create collaterals, invite guests, prepared speaker slides and take event photographs.

I worked with the genial Giuseppe (Pino) De Giosa to market his brand of fine, vintage Japanese clothing.Bursting with passion for handmade history, Pino's keen eye for detail and Italian fashion sensibilities led to the creation of hybrid, modern pieces of wearable art. There was never a boring day at the shop, where I helped to market the brand on social media, take and edit photos of models, negotiate prices with suppliers and convinced walk-in customers to add to their style collection.Pino was a great boss and a better mentor. It was the most lovely experience to be surrounded by art, history, and beauty.
