As the Director of Marketing I am responsible for developing and executing the bank’s branding, marketing, communication strategies. I led the bank’s first rebranding effort in 60 years history, and launched a new brand identity, including logo, color scheme and website. Rebranding initiative modernized our brand story, the refreshed look and feel enabled us to reach new customers, stand out from our competitors.As the manager of Greater China Business Development Department, I coordinate all China-related initiatives within the bank and leads the team work closely with Chinese corporations, investors and high net worth customers to facilitate their financial needs in the U.S. My team is managing a big customer portfolio in loan, deposit and other lines of business. I was the Director of the Digital Banking Department from 2017 to 2019, I oversaw the bank's digital banking strategic direction and its implementation. Before joining Cathay Bank, I was the Co-Managing Director of the Asia Division of PFGBEST, which was one of the largest non-clearing U.S. Futures Commission Merchants and FX Brokerage firms. I opened the company’s Shanghai Representative Office in 2007, it was the first U.S. FX brokerage firm received license from China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission; I also established BESTDirect Australia Pty Ltd in June 2012, and was licensed by the Australian Security and Investment Commission(ASIC) as the Responsible Manager. Cathay Bank has been a public trade firm in NASDAQ since 1990 and is a member of the Standard & Poor's(S&P) Midcap 400 Index.
