As the QA Engineer for the ITG Group, I am responsible for evaluating modules written by ITG’s development team in order meet the rigorous standards held to ensure customer satisfaction. Modules are also verified to function according to Standard Netlinx API (SNAPI) standards for customer flexibility. Also responsible for developing and maintaining a test plan that follows ITG’s Developer Programming Guide and Project Functional Specifications. - Responsible for developing and maintaining project test plans that are based on reported issues.- Developed multiple procedural documentation to ensure quality and standards are met. - Assisted team members with setting up new equipment and various AV related queries. - Team lead and trainer for other QA Engineers.- Reviewed code and assisted with code changes and module development when senior developers were unavailable. - Familiar with various tools such as Eclipse IDE, Wireshark, PuTTY, Audio Architect, etc.- Installed the departments test SIP server and maintained connections to various audio/video conference units as well as maintained the test address book on a Cisco TMS Server. I am the primary contact for AMX’s Device Discovery program. This entails working with hardware engineers from leading A/V manufactures to implement an AMX Device Discovery beacon within their devices. Responsibilities include verifying functionality of the Device Discovery beacon as well as technical support.- Assisted as a support engineer during meetings with leading AV manufacturers answering questions and assisting hardware engineers in implementing Device Discovery Beacons. - Worked with ITG module developers and AMX’s InConcert web development team. Generate use cases for support of AMX’s InConcert website and AMX Device Discovery program. - Worked with AMX marketing team to develop product demonstrations for tradeshows.

IT Administrator – I was responsible for all IT/Telecommunications for FreshLoc. Responsibilities included building and maintaining Freshloc’s production server environment. I ensured data security for the company and their server environment by managing their Cisco Switches, Routers and Pix Firewalls. Implemented and managed the companies IIS and SQL Database Servers. Worked with other System Administrators to implement Freshloc’s solutions within their company’s facilities.- Responsible for maintain FreshLoc’s network and server environment. - Responsible for creating, implementing and using a disaster recovery plan.- Responsible for being on-call 24/7 to support FreshLoc’s servers. Quality Assurance – A key responsibility of my position at FreshLoc was to help ensure quality of FreshLoc’s hardware and software. Verifying that that the product hardware was running within calibrated tolerances. Used tools such as protocol/serial port analyzers and terminal emulation software to confirm data on the RS485 bus from Freshloc’s RF Receiver was uniform and consistent with our standards. Worked closely with Freshloc’s programmers to develop and test FreshLoc monitoring software. Tested new applications and tools, reported bugs and problems before the application release. Made suggestions to better improve performance. Used tools such as Install Shield to develop installation scripts. - Worked closely with FreshLoc’s programmers, reporting problems and offered suggestions for improvement. - Tracked and documented hardware calibration. - Compared and tracked statistics on product enhancements and evaluated possible new solutions. - Provided on site Installation / Support as well as inbound support calls.- Supported Sales Representatives with onsite sales calls.- Managed a team of four Support Technicians responsible for staffing a 24/7 monitoring and support center.
