I am a highly experienced property litigator. My work covers all types of landlord and tenant disputes on commercial and residential properties including forfeiture, possession, disrepair, collection of arrears and contested lease renewals. I also advise on land disputes such as restrictive covenants, easements and boundaries.My advice is always commercial and proactive. The amount of work I do on every case is consistently tailored towards those goals.Some cases can be resolved quickly in correspondence, some require a formal mediation process but others require prosecution through the Courts or the Property Tribunals. I have considerable experience of successfully pursuing disputed cases through the Courts and the Property Tribunals.My clients include property investment companies, individual landlords and commercial tenants. I also work with a number of firms of solicitors who have property departments but who refer their clients to me when property disputes occur.Having run my own firm of solicitors specialising in property disputes for many years, I am now a Partner in Excello Law where I work in a Team alongside my colleague, Robert McLellan.
