Mentor Excellence Award recipient for Entrepreneurial Management. Served CSUF's Center for Entrepreneurship as a mentor for various entrepreneurial courses including New Venture Launch instructed by Dr. John Bradley Jackson, author of "First, Best, or Different: What Every Entrepreneur Needs to Know About Niche Marketing" and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship; and, Entrepreneurial Management instructed by Dr. David Obstfeld, Associate Professor of Management, previously a member of the faculty at New York University’s Stern School of Business and the University of California, Irvine’s Merage School of Business. Dr. Obstfeld teaches courses at the undergraduate, graduate and executive level in entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategy.Students participate in the Student Consulting Program of the Small Business Institute® at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics of California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). SBI-CSUF is managed by the Center for Entrepreneurship and has won more than 40 awards for outstanding student consulting to business owners including the 1996, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2008 National Graduate Case of the Year Award from the Small Business Institute Director's Association (SBIDA) comprised of more than 200 major universities and colleges.
